XRAY PINK

This is a busy day-got up, showered, got ready to go get my treatment-they called to say the machine was broken again. So, we waited until 8 am and went to X-ray at Riverside Hospital and had a nuclear injection. I had some kind of "head rush" and had to wait a while to go back upstairs and Ray had to come down to get me. I got up there and they called me for hip xrays. When I got up from that, I was dizzy, but it got better quicker than the other. Ray and I came home and I have been watching Rachel Ray. She is so up and positive. I just love her program. We have to be back at the hospital at 11:30 a.m. for the bone scan.
Kitty and I went to church last night. We went around through City Center and drove down Canon Boulevard so she could see the cherry trees. They are so beautiful. I filled in for Betty in the library last night. After dinner we went to our bible study class. We had Susan Moore speaking to us on polity in the church. She is a teacher at the John Leland Center for Theological Studies and she really knows the subject thoroughly. It was a very good class. Afterward, we prayed for some people in our congregation who are ill. We learned a lot about our ordnances of baptism and Lord's Supper.

Someone sent the following to me in an email. Thought you might be interested.
Noah's Ark
Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah's Ark.
ONE: Don't miss the boat.
TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat!
THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
FOUR: Stay fit.. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
FIVE: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
SIX: Build your future on high ground.
SEVEN: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
EIGHT: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
NINE: When you're stressed, float awhile.
TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
ELEVEN: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.

Verse of the Day
"It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God -- that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption."
1 Corinthians 1:30 (NIV)
