Gratitude
W e have so much to be grateful for. When you look around our country and see all the beautiful things we have.
I am grateful for all the amazing people in my life. I am even grateful for the ones that are not so nice. We need them to have a guideline of where not to go, what not to do, what not to say, how not to dress, etc.
I am grateful for my health. Even with all my problems, I am for fortunate that over half of the world's people. I may be sick, but I have healthcare.
I am grateful for all the wonderful foods I have access to as an American. I can go to a grocery and pick out almost whatever I want and they sell it to me. I do not have to worry about whether the shelves are stocked or not.
I am grateful for transportation. I even have an extra car if mine has to go in to be fixed. I do not have to get put on a list to purchase a car, I can just buy one.
I am grateful that I can worship like I want to. If someone does not believe as I do, I am grateful that I do not have to defend my faith.
I am grateful that I have so much to be thankful for.
Here is a prayer or poem, depends on how you look at it.
Be Thankful
Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don’t know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations
Because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge
Because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes
They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you’re tired and weary
Because it means you’ve made a difference.
It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are
also thankful for the setbacks.
GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles
and they can become your blessings. ~ Author Unknown
