Singing Christmas Tree Pink

First Baptist Church of Newport News will have the "Singing Christmas" Tree starting on Friday night this week and will continue through Sunday night Dec 9-11, 2011. It will be outside in front of the church where the great big tree is. Reverend Dennis Adams  will be leading the singing with the various choirs and groups at First Baptist. The public is invited to attend. I have it on good authority that there will be hot apple cider and cookies. The time is 7:00 p.m. Bring friends for fun and fellowship.

As Virginia's #1 Tweet, I hope to see you there. Please come up and say HELLO!
GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME!

  1. When I saw the title, I thought the tree was going to be pink. I mean the actual tree; they're available in any color you want nowadays.

  2. It would be hard to find a 60 ft Christmas tree that holds about 60 people! Our family friendly Christmas Tree at First Baptist Church on Warwick Blvd in Newport News VA is becoming a city-wide tradition. We have been doing it for about 8 years. There is no cost to the community and we serve cookies, hot cider, and cocoa. It is a wonderful place to meet nice new friends and fellowship with other Christians. Music seems to bring us all together. We used to have big productions that brought people also, but they really wore out our music department. They are still so busy that their Christmas Party is in January. We also have a Music School that is considered excellent in our area. Thanks for responding to my post. I am so sorry it took so long for me to respond.
